I have over 18 years’ experience in the NHS and several years more recently as an independent practitioner.   I have worked in a wide range of specialities including orthopaedics, respiratory, general surgery, general medicine, amputees, older adults and falls prevention. Eventually I specialised in falls prevention and then later in stroke and neurology. I have completed many post-graduate studies including masters’ modules in both stroke and spasticity management.   I have always had a passion for really making a difference and helping people in their lives, which is why I found the areas of stroke, neurology and rehabilitation most rewarding.
